Today was an exciting day for Mrs. Craine’s second-grade class. Our very own Mayor Walt Rocker came to school to read a book and share a few stories. Mayor Rocker selected one of his favorite stories to share with the class, “Three Billy Goats Gruff.” As a special treat for the class, the children also learned that the mayor’s favorite subject in school was Geography and that his grandson, Walter “Ford” Rocker III was born on his 70th birthday. Thank you, Mayor Rocker for taking time out of your busy schedule to share some quality time with our second-grade class.
