Our eMarketing class took on a project of placing a Geocache on our campus to increase awareness of our amazing school and all we do.  We placed it in a secret location and filled it with many articles that represent Gatewood.  On the second day of being active, our cache was found by two people and one placed a trackable travel bug making its way around the world. When you visit it online, you can see that it has traveled 53,406 miles since originating in Japan way back in 2012.

Our cache is named “Swamp Life” and can be found here – https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC8G8TE_swamp-life?guid=389d30b7-26a0-422d-9619-aa70b42f1c2c

You can visit https://www.geocaching.com/play to learn more about the global treasure hunt that brings people to new places they wouldn’t normally visit. It’s also a great way to get outside with the family this week and see new things, especially as you travel to visit family and friends. #WeAreGatewood
