Exciting news! The Gatewood Players, our drama and musical theatre club, will be expanding next year! We are asking that all parents of K-7 (rising 1st-8th graders) complete this 5 question survey, so we can make sure the Players reflect what our school community wants. It will take less than 5 minutes. Thank you!

The Gatewood Players is the drama and musical theatre club at Gatewood School. Started in 2020, the Players are expanding with opportunities for students in grades 1-8!

Mission Statement

The Gatewood Players strive to enrich the lives of Gatewood students by offering positive experiences in the performing arts. Through instruction and performance, students will be nurtured in self-expression and ensemble teamwork culminating in a drama or musical performance.

Activities during the workshop times will include drama instruction with games and teaching, movement and choreography, vocal warm-ups and instruction, and performance rehearsals. All Gatewood Players meeting times are after school. All Players meet once a week 3:00-4:30 with increased rehearsals closer to show time.
