K - 3 and K - 4 Admissions Process

1. Complete the School Application and return it to Gatewood Schools with a $50 non-refundable application fee.
2. If your child is currently enrolled in an organized preschool or day care facility, you must get your child’s current teacher(s) to submit a Pre-Kindergarten Confidential Teacher Recommendation Form. Submit the following records for your child:
3. Current Immunization Record Form 3231
4. Copy of Birth Certificate
5. Copy of Social Security Card
6. After all information is received, your child’s application will be reviewed for enrollment.

K-5 Admissions Process

1. Complete the School Application and return it to Gatewood Schools with a $50 non-refundable application fee.
2. If your child is currently enrolled in an organized preschool (private or lottery funded) or day care facility, you must get your child’s current teacher(s) to submit a Kindergarten Confidential Teacher Recommendation Form. Submit the following records for your child:
3. Current Immunization Record Form 3231
4. Copy of Eye, Ear and Dental Exam Form 3300, dated within one year of start of kindergarten.
5. Copy of Birth Certificate
6. Copy of Social Security Card
7. After all information is received, the Admissions Office will notify you of your child’s testing date. Once testing is complete, your child’s application will be reviewed for enrollment.

1st through 4th Grade Admissions Process

1. Complete the School Application and return it to Gatewood Schools with a $50 non-refundable application fee.
2. Complete the Release of Records and submit it to your child’s current school. This should include your child’s entire school record.
3. Have your child’s current teacher(s) complete the 1st-4th Confidential Teacher Recommendation Form. Submit the following records for your child:
4. Current Immunization Record Form 3231
5. Copy of Eye, Ear and Dental Exam Form 3300
6. Copy of Birth Certificate
7. Copy of Social Security Card
8. After all information is received, the Admissions Office will notify you of your child’s testing date. Once testing is complete, your child’s application will be reviewed for enrollment
