Great job Gatewood Swimmers!!
The Gatewood Schools competed in the GISA State Swimming Championship against 20 schools from around the state on Saturday, January 30th at Georgia Tech. Not only did each swimmer set new personal best times, Varsity swimmer, Emily Schneider and Middle school swimmer, Jake Holloway broke several school records. Schneider is the new GISA state champion in the 50 free, 100 free, and 500 free and Holloway is the new middle school state champion in the 100 IM, 100 free, and 50 back. Holloway also broke the GISA state records in both the 100 free and 50 back that had been standing since 1992 and 1997 respectively.
