Our Vision

In 1970, our families laid the foundation of Gatewood Schools, and we intend to build the foundation for the future to provide future generations with the best facilities possible.

A self-sustained, consolidated high school will enhance security and protect small class sizes while providing eight new classrooms, two large functional science labs and a new cafeteria with a stage.  This will remove the former preschool and villas, making room for a new secured playground, outdoor learning center and garden.

This growth enables greater course selection, an expanded performing arts program and increased academic support with the opportunity for more collaboration among teachers.

Gatewood currently has 120 students in eight temporary classrooms.  Some grades are at capacity and need more space.  Our high school students are walking to three different areas of campus during the day, compromising our safety and security plans.

Our Goal

Our fundraising goal is $7.2 million.

Our target to break ground is June 2023 and complete construction in December 2024.

We must build on the education destination that will benefit this community, alumni, current students, and future generations.
