We are celebrating 50 years of Educational Excellence this school year and are stronger than ever! We currently have 375 students from 6 different counties in and surrounding Putnam County. We boast over 1200 alumni in 27 states and 5 countries around the globe. Out of this year’s high school students, 52% are dual-enrolled, 57% are HOPE eligible, 47% are in the National Honors Society, and 100% participate in service organizations to give back to our wonderful community. Our graduates have a 100% acceptance rate and many to their first choice of colleges. Students have 27 athletic teams and 12 clubs to participate in. We have won 48 state championships, have 2 graduates that have participated in the Olympics and one that won 2 consecutive gold medals. Gatewood has also produced 26 Eagle Scouts, another impressive number!
